Overview.
Working closely together with Pedro Guerra on this project empowered by VR360, we’ve contributed with the design, illustrations and prototyping for an immersive and interactive Virtual Tour of the Leça do Balio Monastery and the Temple and Garden project that counts with the participation of the architects Álvaro Siza Vieira and Sidónio Pardal.

Goals
Design the interface for the Leça do Balio Monasterium virtual tour.
Present digitally the architecture project.
Design a tour quiz at the end of the experience.
The Challenge
We were challenged to design the Monasterium digital tour featuring an architectural project counting with the participation of the architects Álvaro Siza Vieira and Sidónio Pardal.
The Solution
We approached the project with the intent of complement the project story through visual documentation of the Monastery construction.

Research
People tend to create visual representations of elements from a story, so our job came down to create a user-friendly and visually appealing interface to entertain while educating the user.
Pedro Guerra guided the research and lead with the creative direction.

While the user gets to know the Temple and Garden project by the Architects Álvaro Siza Vieira and Sidónio Pardal and learns about the history of the Leça do Balio monastery, we wanted them to enjoy this digital visit as if it was live.

The Brand
design & Development
We've supported each other throughout the creation of this project, which opened the opportunity to create new assets and contribute with the sound design for the tour and a few traditional elements like the digital artwork of the map, which was inspired in the art style of the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, and an icon set designed on brand with the visual identity of Monasterium.
Final Thoughts
Working together with Pedro Guerra on this project empowered by VR360 was very enriching and opened the door for the opportunity to explore sound design production with Pedro and illustrate for the tour map, which was amazing to see this artwork featured in the Monasterium project presentation by Evasões.
